Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a progressive lung disease that makes it difficult to breathe. It is caused by long-term exposure to irritants, such as cigarette smoke, dust, and fumes. COPD is a leading cause of death worldwide, and it affects millions of people.

D&H National Research Centers is currently conducting a study on Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease . As a prominent leader in clinical research in Florida, we are committed to advancing medical knowledge and patient care.

Inclusion Criteria:


If you want to participate in this study, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Male or female subjects aged from 40 to 65 years old (both inclusive).

  • History of chronic bronchitis symptoms (sputum and cough) and an initial diagnosis of mild to moderate COPD over the previous 12 months.

  • Subject has a smoking history of at least 10 years.

  • Subject has been smoking ≥ 10 commercially available cigarettes/day on average for at least 1 year prior to screening.

Exclusion Criteria:


You are not eligible for participation in this study if:


  • Subjects with active cancer or history of any cancer.

  • Subjects with pneumonia or other lower respiratory tract infections that have not resolved at least four weeks prior to screening.

  • Subjects with other active respiratory disorders such as, but not limited to, tuberculosis, bronchiectasis, sarcoidosis, asthma, pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung diseases.

  • Subjects with pneumonia or other lower respiratory tract infections that have not resolved at least four weeks prior to screening.
